He had been dispatched to KIC(Korea Innovation Center)-Europe in Brussels from 2014 to 2018 to build joint research projects and to promote technology commercialization between Korea and European countries.
His research interests include smart mobility, smart city/transport, IoT, AI/Deep Learning, ITS/telematics, u-Health, and component-based development (CBD).

Brief description of my Organisation
ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) was established in 1976 as a government research institute on ICT, and has played a major role as “an ICT Innovator for a Great Tomorrow”. Our major achievements include TDX, DRAM, CDMA, WiBro, Terrestrial DMB, 4G etc., leading to creation of the new ICT market and contribution to national economic development. The objectives of management are to create the world best outcomes through carrying out basic and essential R&D, and maintain global IP competitiveness, and build an advanced management system. Our research areas cover all ICT fields such as AI, Broadcasting & Telecommunication(5G, 6G), Intelligent Robot, u-health, Digital Convergence, Software and Security, Digital Contents, ICT Components & Materials.
