Abstract
The main focus of this proposal is the implementation of a digital rights management solution mainly based on the OMA DRM specifications and SIM based security for controlling the distribution and consumption of digital contents on the mobile device environment.

In addition to this it will be implemented a mechanism to allow Peer to Peer communication and access to locally deployed services using DRM technologies.

Focus areas
  • Implement a platform based on the OMA DRM and SIM based security for controlling the distribution and consumption of digital contents on mobiles
  • Peer-to-Peer services scenario (U2U communication and User to Local Service) will be developed to exemplify the strength of this technology

Expected outcome
  • DRM platform server for service layer integration (enforced by SIM authentication based on the AuC/HLR)
  • Mobile device using DRM within the device or as a trust entity
  • Provide a Content Download Service
  • Analysis of P2P communications
  • Test bed integration
