Celtic-Plus project HIPERMED amongst the three finalists for the EUREKA Innovation Award

The expert jury panel has selected the three finalists for the EUREKA Innovation Award 2014.The Celtic-Plus project HIPERMED is amongst them as winner of the category ‘added value’. HIPERMED (HIgh PERformance teleMEDicine platform) designed an open telemedicine platform. HIPERMED’s vision aimed at being the standard telemedicine high performance solution delivering services from a healthcare provider or wellness service to the citizens.

The project Coordinator Oscar Chabrera from Merkum-ViLynx was very excited when he learned that his project is amongst the finalists and said “I am very proud that our project was selected for this prestigious award. I am particularly happy that we are the winner of the category ‘added value’. This recognizes the huge commercial potential of the project results”.

The three finalists will present their project at the EUREKA Innovation Forum on 19 November 2014 in Basel. The public will vote on the most innovative project during the event and the results will be announced during the Award Ceremony.
