Abstract
DataMind AI is a cross-sector, modular AI platform designed to optimize industrial operations through intelligent, human-centric solutions. Addressing key challenges in predictive maintenance, energy management, quality control, and process optimization, DataMind AI empowers industries to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and decision-making.
The project leverages open-source AI frameworks, fine-tuned with company-specific data, ensuring adaptable and high-performing solutions tailored to diverse environments such as automotive manufacturing, agri-food processing, and advanced industrial production. A core innovation is the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs), enabling intuitive human-AI interaction, improving explainability, usability, and fostering trust in AI-driven processes.
DataMind AI introduces a modular multi-agent architecture, where specialized AI agents dynamically collaborate to manage tasks like dynamic load balancing, anomaly detection, and demand-response optimization. Seamless interoperability is ensured through adherence to industrial standards (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, OpenADR) and a semantic middleware layer harmonizing heterogeneous data sources.
The project supports European priorities in digital sovereignty, ethical AI, and the Green Deal, promoting energy efficiency, CO₂ reduction, and sustainable industrial practices. Demonstrated across use cases in Turkey, Spain, and Germany, DataMind AI will deliver open, scalable, and replicable solutions for Europe’s industrial sectors.
By fostering collaboration between industry, SMEs, academia, and standardization bodies, DataMind AI will drive innovation, contribute to AI standards, and accelerate the adoption of explainable, human-aligned AI technologies across Europe.
