The CELTIC-NEXT Spring Call 2026 is open.

The call is open since the 1st of December 2025, and the submission deadline is on 24 April 2026.

The CELTIC-NEXT office will organise an online Launch Event and a Proposers´ Brokerage Day in Vienna to help you join the call with innovative proposals and in the construction of a consortium of international partners among RTO, industries, SMEs & and academia.

The Office team will explain the first steps to prepare your proposal, such as creating a Proposal Portal account and using the Brokerage Tool to find partners, share ideas or find some.

By applying and participating in the CELTIC-NEXT Call, your organisation can access national public funding for your R&D project.

Spring Call 2026 supporting counties are listed below*.

*In addition to those, Chile is supporting this call. Some other countries may also assist, but on a case-by-case basis. This needs to be checked before the application is submitted to CELTIC-NEXT.
We encourage you to reach out to your national project coordinator through the CELTIC-NEXT dedicated PA page: National Public Contacts & Funding Schemes.

BROKERAGE TOOL

In order to support you in preparing your project proposal for CELTIC-NEXT Calls, we have created an online Brokerage Tool. Its goal is to help you build your Consortium for your CELTIC Project.

The Following functionalities are available:

  • Submission form for Project Ideas and Expertise Offers
  • Overview lists with search form
  • Contact request forms
  • Process owner support functions: approval process and contact request tracking

After submission, the CELTIC Office will check and publish your Project Idea or your Expertise.

HOW TO APPLY?

First of all, you will need an account on the Celtic Proposal Submission Portal to apply.

In order to access the Celtic Proposal Submission Portal for the first time you need to create an account or log in with your credentials if you have already participated in one of the previous CELTIC-NEXT Calls.

Once your account is created, you can fill in the application form and upload your Project Proposal Template before the deadline. There you will be able to write a CELTIC-NEXT submission in your field of interest and expertise for the open call(s).

Please note that you will also need to contact each partner National Public Authority by country to receive national funding information and that process and conditions can vary with dates and take time.

You shall also fill in, sign and return, to the office, the Confirmation Letter/Declaration of Acceptance (CLD) for each consortium partner within two weeks after your proposal submission.

After receiving a positive Label Notification, a Project Cooperation Agreement (PCA) should be elaborated and signed between the consortium partners. For that purpose, we provide you with an example here.

During the submission process, you will be guided step by step as all documents are provided in the tool and on our Guides, Contracts & Templates page.
